Background Information:Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), provider of automated software testing, data analysis, and cybersecurity solutions for complex, mission-critical systems in the US Department of Defense (DOD), is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support Manager to be based in our Arlington, VA office.   Overview: Provide program acquisition and sustainment logistics management, planning, coordination, and consulting support the Advance Capability Business Area to help transition prototype capability to production. This position is responsible for supporting all logistics efforts as well as leading a team of logisticians, trainers, publication authors, cyber, and field support personnel to completion of projects. All applicants must currently possess an active U.S. Security Clearance. Responsibilities Include:  
  • Development and execution of product support strategies and product support packages that involves planning, coordinating, and evaluating the execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) for acquisition and sustainment programs that includes both hardware, software (DevSecOps), and Navy RMF cyber packages.
  • Coordinate logistics support program activities in the areas of spares, technical data, test equipment, field service, training, field and in-house modification programs, and change control with customers
  • Work with customers and cyber security analysts to understand/define customer security requirements and translate those requirements to meet NAO RMF requirements.
  • Analyze engineering change documentation to determine applicability and scope of effort on logistics support activities Participate in Engineering Change Control Boards
  • Provide documentation development, development support, and document reviews, including, but not limited to the following:
  • Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs)
  • Item Unique Identification (IUID) Plans
  • Navy Training System Plans
  • Maintenance Plans, etc
  • Build PARM level ILS Status Briefs.
  • Define logistics support requirements in context of customer needs
  • Ensure compliance with all project logistics requirements based on customer needs
  • Participate in preparing proposal inputs concerning product support areas
  • Supervise, train and mentor mid and junior-level personnel in the technical aspects of assigned work.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of experience working in logistics support (ILS)
Required Skills:
  • Ability to learn unique hardware/software deployment configuration and operations to be tested on-site.
  • Hands-on experience in deploying and maintaining applications in a mission critical operational environment.
  • Ability to communicate with senior warfighters and test leads and assist with the test execution.
  • Understanding of performing test and integration, applying best engineering practices, and developing test and operational methodologies
  • Ability to apply troubleshooting techniques to systems, network, and processes to determine if exhibited behavior is expected.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% 
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with complex Navy surface warfare systems and applications in an operational setting.
  • Experience System integration and test experience for tactical applications (Aegis Weapon System, CEC, Link16, etc.).
  • Have experience working with Aegis Weapon System or NAVSEA tactical applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in related disciplines (e.g., Software Engineering, IT, Networking).
  • Experience running and testing complex SW systems, especially DoD Systems or large distributed SW Solutions.
  • Experience developing or testing large, complex systems (e.g., DOD related lab environment).
  • Experience running codes or scripts in Python, Java, C++, or other languages.
  • Experience performing test and integration, applying best engineering practices, and executing test methodologies.

  • Strong team-centric execution and coordination skills
