Job Description
For this Cybersecurity Reporting & Communications Consultant opportunity, you will work from our Charlotte office approx. 1 day/week with occasional flexibility per the needs of the business. Our local office is the Charlotte Railyard (1414 S. Tryon St., Charlotte, NC 28203). In addition, strong qualified applicants outside of the Charlotte market will be given consideration as remote / home-based professionals.As a Cybersecurity Executive Reporting & Communications Consultant, you will support Executive Reporting, Communications, Metrics, and Strategy. Executive Reporting requires formulation of clear and concise executive materials on the Cybersecurity program for presentation to audiences across the enterprise including the Allstate Board of Directors, Allstate VPs/SVPs/EVPs, Risk Management Committees, Regulatory Compliance Committees and Individual Departments. In addition, you support Communications across team functions to drive effective understanding of work efforts, accomplishments, and innovative efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, review, and refine reporting of the execution of critical cybersecurity initiatives and priorities, performance metrics, risks and threats, remediation activities and associated risk to drive understanding of organizational change and how it aligns to broader business objectives
Develop and execute communications plan and project plan
Build and present complex cybersecurity topics to senior management using a variety of communication platforms
Manage to concurrent, competing and changing deadlines and objectives, quickly assess issues and concerns while bringing those issues to quick resolution
Drive deliverables and input from key stakeholders
Obtain direction and feedback from Senior Leadership; facilitate review meetings with stakeholders and leadership
Continuously evaluate process for improvements in order to maximize efficiency and impact
Analyze and support the Cybersecurity strategy, solution planning and execution
Build strategic partnerships through ongoing engagement with AIS leaders and team members
Ensure reports are aligned with the AIS Information Security Controls, Program, Policies, and Standards
Key Qualifications & Skills
5+ years' experience delivering executive-level reporting and communications material
Solid professional work experience within Cybersecurity and/or IT fields possessing broad knowledge of technical terminology and functions
Experience in a matrixed environment, in managing technology and/or business services at scale
Experience supporting business strategies and achieving a desired future-state through individual and group goals in alignment with corporate objectives and priorities
Professional verbal and written communication skills with executive-level presence to deliver accurate and thorough presentations
Expert in Microsoft O365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Office, OneNote, Teams)
Meeting facilitation while actioning on meeting processes (e.g., live edits to materials based on discussion, notes, document action items, follow up communications and resolution tracking)
Project management skills inclusive of project and communication planning (e.g., work breakdown structure, calendar, roadmap, project documentation and presentations)
Ability to understand and demonstrate connections between cybersecurity work efforts, business goals and strategy through a presentation narrative in laymen’s terms
Driven, self-starter; accustomed to working in complex, fast paced organizations, partnering with a diverse group of stakeholders, and achieving results
Ability to understand security challenges, summarize technical details, and establish simple yet thorough reports
Working knowledge and understanding of technology impacts, risks, and mitigation plans
Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to critically analyze technical information in a logical and methodical manner and make data-driven decisions
Relevant postsecondary education and/or industry certification desired (e.g., Security+, CISA, CISSP, CISM)

Compensation offered for this role is $95,700.00 - 170,925.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
