Our GPS Technology Organization is a structure within the US GPS practice that implements and maintains a new operate and technology model designed specifically to support U.S. Defense and Government engagements.
The opportunity
The primary function of the Information Security Audit Analyst is to liaise with external auditors to facilitate the audit for the US Government & Public Sector (GPS) Technology Enclave group.
You will work to help coordinate audits to be executed with internal and external groups and ensure successful delivery of audit materials, in line with agreed methodology and guidelines. You will also work with the team for coordinating pre-assessments, evaluating, and advising leadership on the readiness for the commencing of external audits, and coordinating all activities related to the audits such as document requests, evidence collection, and liaising with the external auditors and internal departments involved in the audits.
Your key responsibilities
- Will help with the coordination of:
- Information Security audits that will vary in level of complexity from simple to potentially complex
- Internal Audits for the US GPS Technology Enclave group.
- Internal pre-assessments in preparation for external audits and certifications
- Establish and report on metrics to gauge on audit program effectiveness, audit readiness, and key risk areas that could impede successful external audits
- Identify risks and escalate potential project issues to management as required
- Recommend and implement process improvement strategies
- Monitor remediation activities in-scope for external audits
- Work team to setup audit scheduling, evidence gathering, audit interviews and remediation

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelors Degree in a field closely related to data management, information security, computer science, or finance or equivalent work experience
- Experience with performing or being involved with security audits
- Three or more years of experience in Information Security
- Experience with NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-53, or other Government frameworks
- Understanding of assurance audits, certifications, and NIST frameworks
- Working knowledge regarding Network and Application Penetration testing and experience in communicating vulnerabilities to technical and non-technical audiences
- Maintain awareness of the current security threat landscape
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance
Ideally, you’ll also have
One of the following or equivalent certifications:

- CISSP, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) in related area, CompTIA Security+ certification, Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Assessment Center (DIBCAC) Certification, or other equivalent certification.
