In this position you will join the Thales Netherlands IS/IT team. IS/IT is at the core of the Thales digital transformation, there is a close relationship between IS/IT and business.

With a team of 100+ colleagues we provide IS/IT support to our 2500 NL colleagues in several Business Lines and functions. The IS/IT department of Thales Netherlands works closely together with the international IS/IT departments of the Thales group.

The security engineer is part of the NL Cybersecurity squad and works closely with other colleagues within and outside the squad. Your team will be part of the Security tribe of the whole Thales group. Together they’re responsible for: Business Managed Network Security, Identity & Access Management, Trusted Core, PAM & AD Security, Data and Operational Security.

About the job

Your work as a security engineer is varied. Every day you start together with the team to discuss ongoing tasks during the stand-up and how to align them with each other. Both within the department as well as the team we work according to the Agile / Scrum working methods. Throughout the week you focus on the sprint that you work on together with your team.

You and your team provide Consumers with Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM) services for Thales products and services using security principles, standards, solutions and tooling to improve the cyber resilience of Thales. Preferably you have gained experience in Enterprise environments where security and standardization are also very important.

You have:

• expert knowledge of Cyberark;
• expert knowledge of ALSID;
• expert knowledge of Active Directory;
• expert knowledge of OpSwat.

About you

We are looking for a colleague who:

• has a (technical) bachelor or master degree;
• has experience within a complex enterprise IT environment;
• has strong communication skills;
• has experience with agile working or is open-minded in adopting new ways of working;
• has a strong will to continue to develop him or herself, both on a personal and technical level;
• is fluent in English.
