The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a cleared Information Systems Security Engineering (ISSE) professional to join our team and contribute to this global effort. Y14 is modernizing NSA's system architecture to ensure mission systems remain resilient in case of degraded infrastructure. This position is based in Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and review technical security assessments of computing environments. Identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance with IA standards and regulations.

  • Recommend mitigation strategies for security issues. Validate and verify system security requirements and establish system security designs.

  • Design, develop, implement, and integrate IAT and security systems for various environments.

  • Build and enhance IA into systems deployed to operational environments.

  • Assist in implementing appropriate information security functionality.

  • Support building and reviewing security architectures.

  • Enforce trusted relations among external systems and architectures.

  • Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle.

  • Contribute to security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and awareness activities.

  • Review certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation.

  • Apply system security engineering expertise in various areas.

  • Support security authorization activities in compliance with NSA/CSS, DoD, and NIST frameworks.


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • An active NSA TS/SCI with Poly.

  • Twenty (20) years of experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. A Master's degree may reduce the experience requirement to 18 years. Alternatively, 4 years of additional ISSE experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information System Security Engineering, or related field.

  • DOD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 3 is required Both Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) and CISSP

    Certifications are required.

  • Expertise in system security design process, engineering life cycle, and information domain.

  • Knowledge of cross-domain solutions, cryptography, and IA principles.

  • Experience with certification and accreditation processes.

  • Familiarity with NSA/CSS, DoD, and NIST security frameworks.


Desired:

  • Experience with intrusion detection, contingency planning, and incident handling.

  • Strong understanding of risk management and configuration control.

  • Proficiency in security testing and auditing.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$109,800 - $241,600
