Our security engineering team in Krakow are currently recruiting an experienced Security Network Engineer. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in Network Security and Engineering and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.   This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our organisation's data and systems through proactive network and endpoint protection and security management.

Based in Krakow, you will support and collaborate with stakeholders and other security teams to ensure our security is fully compliant across multiple locations within EMEA.  You will provide technical support and guidance on security issues and play a key role in developing best practices and training materials.  

Key skills we looking for in this role: ·        

  • Hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and managing enterprise-level networks, including proficiency in routing, switching, load balancing, and network protocols.
  • Skilled in integrating network security solutions with existing infrastructure to ensure seamless performance and protection.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python for automating tasks, developing custom scripts, and enhancing system administration workflows, with an ability to write, debug, and optimize code for various operational needs.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server environments and Linux systems.
  • Working knowledge of endpoint security solutions, with practical experience in managing and optimising these tools.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements relevant to endpoint security, such as GDPR and PCI-DSS.
  • Demonstrated capability to address complex security issues effectively and efficiently. Ability to think critically and adapt solutions to evolving security challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and produce clear, concise reports.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to collective security goals while managing individual responsibilities.

What will you be doing:

  • Provide expert technical support and guidance on endpoint security issues.
  • Develop and promote best practices and training materials for endpoint security.
  • Review and analyse firewall rule change requests to ensure alignment with security policies and operational needs.
  • Configure, deploy and maintain platforms to secure access to cloud resources and enforce data protection policies.
  • Oversee and manage  systems to secure privileged accounts and access controls.
  • Assist in administering and optimising endpoint protection platform.
  • Participate in compliance assessments to ensure adherence to security standards and regulations.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents involving endpoints, coordinating with IT teams for remediation.
  • Ensure timely application of security patches and updates to maintain a secure environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of security configurations and procedures. Generate reports on endpoint security status and incidents for stakeholders
