As a Pre-Sales Senior Solutions Architect, Workforce, you will play a pivotal role within the Sales Engineering team, managing high-visibility projects and initiatives within your territory.

As our Pre-Sales Senior Solutions Architect, Workforce, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

 

  • Technical Advisory: Serve as the trusted technical advisor to key customer stakeholders, including CTOs, CISOs, IT Executives, and Security Engineers. Utilize your technical expertise to understand and navigate customer requirements
  • Solution Design: Assess and qualify customer opportunities and contribute to the development and integration of cybersecurity designs Deliver holistic customer solution architecture that integrates business models and technologies
  • Document and address information security, cybersecurity architecture, systems security engineering requirements and technical third-party risk controls
  • Customer Engagement: Lead product demonstrations and deliver engaging presentations tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences. Facilitate technical workshops and meetings to capture and document user stories for solution development
  • Thought Leadership: Serve as the technical sales team voice in the market by actively delivering relevant and actionable customer focused content at trade shows, public speaking events/keynotes, podcasts, webinars, and other thought leadership activities. Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert, collaborating closely with other departments such as Product Management, Support, Marketing, and Enablement. Technical Enablement: Provide technical enablement and assistance to the Pre-Sales team. Lead in-depth technical discussions with partners, customers, and internal resources, contributing to solution evolution and development
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and market trends within information security and Identity and Access Management. Coordinate third-party risk and cybersecurity audit responses
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with global cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Management, Technical Services, and Engineering, to ensure feedback from the field is provided to the relevant teams. Foster a collaborative environment where team members support each other and share knowledge to achieve common goals

 

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

 

  • Bachelors. (or equivalent education) in computing, physical science, or engineering, and/or at least eight to ten years of relevant industry experience with business and technical aspects of complex enterprise solutions.
  • Minimum of eight  years experience with network administration, hardware and software, cloud, hosting
  • Expertise in how IT security products are applied in the market to address needs such as physical identity and access management, identification, authentication, physical access control, visitor management, credentialing
  • Awareness and the ability to use a wide variety of software solutions
  • Deep understanding of business operations and the ability to connect technology to operations
  • Project management and cross-functional team management
  • Ability to assist in closing large, complex sales engagements
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of IT security products, industry standards (e.g., X.509, PKCS#11, OpenID, OAuth, FIDO2), and regulatory controls. Proficiency in both Windows and Linux environments, with strong knowledge of system and network components and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Expertise in cloud technology, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Experience with APIs, SDKs, and micro-services.
  • Exhibit outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain long-lasting customer relations.
  • Ability to manage projects, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demands. Experience in closing large, complex sales engagements.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM are a plus.
