As our Cloud Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a key role in helping our development teams understand and adhere to cloud security policies, serving as an extended security champion in partnership with our Security Consulting team. You will focus on guiding and enabling teams to implement secure practices in their workflows, ensuring compliance with established security standards, and promoting a culture of security across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with development teams to interpret and implement cloud security policies and procedures established by the Information Security Team.
- Act as a trusted security advisor to development teams, helping them integrate secure practices into their design and deployment processes.
- Works with teams that Monitor and manage cloud security tools (e.g., IAM, Security Groups, WAF) and assist teams in their effective use.
- Ensure cloud environments align with industry regulations (e.g., PCI, NIST, SOC2) and assist teams in maintaining compliance.
- Partner with the Security Consulting team to identify security gaps and communicate risks to relevant stakeholders, from engineers to business leaders.
- Facilitate training and awareness sessions to enhance team knowledge of cloud security practices.
- Provide subject matter expertise on information security architecture and systems engineering to IT and development teams.
- Stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls, sharing insights with teams to improve security posture.
What You’ll Need
- To thrive in this role, you have 4+ years of experience in cloud security principles and best practices.
- You have experience with cloud security tools and services, including AWS IAM, Azure AD, and Google Cloud IAM
- You’re familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., PCI, NIST, SOC2, CIS).
- You have hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, WIZ, etc.).
- You have extensive knowledge of identity management and encryption techniques.
- You have experience analyzing cloud controls for an enterprise company. You know how to review frameworks and ID gaps, document gaps, and work with other engineers in an organization to help them understand.
- You have practical knowledge of AWS, GCP and Azure foundation services related to computing, network, storage, content delivery, administration and security, deployment and management, and automation technologies
- You will need excellent presentation skills in order to communicate with management and stakeholders.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$129,400.00 - $172,000.00Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
