Cyber Security Analyst

As our Cyber Security Analyst, you will work individually as part of a team identifying and communicating third-party vendor information security risks to our internal business partners.  You will be working on-site in Costa Mesa, CA, for the first 90 days, then in the office 3 out of 5 days per week. Full-time remote is not an option for this position as we interact with others frequently. 

What You’ll Do 

  • You will use your technical, analytical, and systems knowledge daily to prioritize and complete multiple third-party risk assessments while seeking input from other team members, internal business partners, and third-party vendors 

  • With high-impact issues consistently arising, you will make yourself available as a resource to guide internal partners and third parties through our assessment process 

  • Periodically analyze our program, and results achieved, and provide recommendations to further improve our team and program best practices 

  • Actively keep team processes and documentation relevant 

  • Remain current with emerging information security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls 

What You’ll Need  

  • To thrive in this role, you will have experience using information security best practices and standards such as NIST, PCI, HIPPA, etc., to enable your recognition and assessment of what a mature security program looks like 

  • You will feel comfortable when speaking about enterprise information security to various audiences to effectively assess and communicate potential risk 

  • A service-oriented approach to support and guide our business partners from an information security perspective 

  • Confidence in discussing examples of concepts/ways to keep client data secure while having discussions with internal business partners and external vendors 

  • An understanding of numerous information security technologies and approaches that will facilitate accurate security assessments, including WAF, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, DLP, EDR, VPN, Application Security, Vulnerability Scanning, SIEM

  • Accurate documentation skills utilizing existing templates to convey questions and results to various audiences, including internal and external business partners 

  • Enjoy collaborating in cross-functional teams, applying feedback for continuous improvement individually and with the team 

  • Multiple years of information security experience and/or certifications will help you perform effectively in this role

The starting pay range for this position is:

$106,900.00 - $142,200.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
