At G+D Mobile Security, the world leader in secure telecommunications systems via SIM / eSIM, we are looking for an Security Analyst.

 

The Security Analyst will work as a member of the global CDC team, The successful candidate will possess technical knowledge on a number of security technologies; have a solid understanding of security investigations and Incident Response. The Security Analyst will assist with developing and documenting work processes and train other members of the team.
 


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitoring of the threat landscape and evaluation of applicability to the organization.
  • Identification of risk scenarios and translation into Use Cases / Active Threat Hunting.
  • Triage of security events (end-to-end).
  • Development of playbooks.
  • Support the local security management and service owners in case of IT security incidents (incident response).
  • Optimization of use cases and correlation rules for the identification of potential attacks.
  • Creation of rules for compliance and audit requirements and create and management of watch lists for current threats.
  • Development and maintenance of documentation for internal and external needs.
  • Training of other team members. 
  • Assistance with designing and documenting operational procedures within the Cyber Defense Center.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Engineering or related field of study; at least 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in Security Analytics and Incident Response required.
  • Expertise in attack strategies (e.g. MITRE Attack Framework).
  • Solid understanding of Cybersecurity concepts required.
  • Strong Analytical thinking and the capability to put information into company context..
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
