About the role:

As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst II at Worldpay, the enterprise will depend on you to monitor, assess, and inform defenders, decision makers, and other relevant teams about existing and emerging threats to the environment. You will play a critical role in defining our threat model, analyzing our collections for threats, and producing finished intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, be comfortable with written and spoken communication, and a curiosity to learn new things daily.

What you will be doing:

  • Monitor, research, and provide guidance on trends, threats, and actors that affect Worldpay and the financial services sector.

  • Perform OSINT investigation and demonstrate familiarity with CTI tools.

  • Monitor social media, deep web, and online forums for threats to Worldpay.

  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the latest threats and vulnerabilities across information security and awareness of potential mitigations.

  • producing and presenting findings to executive stakeholders.

  • Produce daily, issue-focused, and rapid response reports on cybersecurity issues impacting Worldpay.

  • Establish and maintain close working relationship with internal cybersecurity, infrastructure, fraud, and other teams to address risks to Worldpay.

  • Coordinate with industry, government, and peer information sharing communities.

What you bring:

Bachelor's degree in either a writing-intensive or technical field and a strong background in both skillsets, relevant certifications such as GCTI, GOSI, or similar.

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

  • Analytical tradecraft skills such as structured analytical techniques and the diamond model.

  • Familiar with the intelligence cycle and with and intelligence requirements.

  • Subject matter expertise in incident management, threat hunting, incident response, or SOC operations.

  • Experience with offensive security tactics, techniques, and procedures and how various threat groups leverage them.

  • Ability to exploit and pivot from indicators of compromise using relevant tools like SIEMs, EDRs, and TIPs.

  • Ability to automate recurring tasks using available tooling.

  • Background in either information security or computer science.

  • Prior cyber threat intelligence experience preferred.

The pay range for this full-time position is $77,100.00 - $125,680.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
