We are seeking a self-motivated, professional, and responsible individual to join our team. As a Senior Associate Cyber Testing - Project Management, you will work directly with clients in diverse industries to support RSM’s client experience strategy. This person must maintain complete knowledge of all aspects of our firm’s engagement management capabilities and applications that support our line of business. They must apply their working knowledge of our firm’s tools and strategy to support our teams in delivering projects efficiently and consistently. They will also be expected to spend time learning about risk consulting, our services and implementation methodologies that will contribute to managing client engagements effectively. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and organize projects, sometimes with multiple delivery teams, to assist in client’s compliance and security initiatives
  • Manage complex projects through the entirety of the engagement lifecycle, including project scoping, planning, monitoring and execution
  • Oversee day-to-day execution of tasks, ensuring adherence to outlined project plan
  • Maintain current and highly visible status reports, meeting agendas, project charters, and other documentation as required per project
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manage projects seamlessly in multiple of systems of record (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills to identify and resolve challenges, mitigate risk
  • Proactively identify client needs and take steps to maintain a positive client experience
  • Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or other documentation in support of internal processes, client experiences
  • Connect project objectives and outcomes with broader organizational goals
  • Take initiative and drive projects forward without supervision

Required qualifications:

  • 4+ years of previous project management, PMO and/or consulting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, IT, system engineering, or related field
  • Demonstrated success using enterprise project management software, project planning tools like Microsoft Project, Excel and other Microsoft office products 
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Must possess a high degree of integrity and confidentiality, as well as the ability to adhere to both company policies and project management best practices
  • Strong verbal and written abilities
  • Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting and financial management, demonstrated understanding of program-level budget management is a plus
  • Team-oriented professional, experience coaching others a plus

Preferred qualifications:

  • PMP Certification
  • CAPM - Certified Associate Project Manager
  • Experience in professional services or cybersecurity
