The Role:
Our site in Pune, India is seeking an Endpoint, Sr. Manager to join our team. The Endpoint Senior Manager will oversee the endpoint management lifecycle, ensuring the security, performance, and optimization of all devices within an organization, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and virtual workspaces. This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to manage endpoint configurations, monitor compliance, resolve technical issues, and ensure seamless integration across all IT systems. The Sr. Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT security, operations, and engineering, to protect the organization’s digital assets and maintain productivity.
What You’ll Do:
- Endpoint Management Strategy:
- Lead the development, implementation, and execution of an endpoint management strategy, aligning with the organization’s overall IT and security objectives.
- Ensure continuous optimization of endpoint performance, usability, and security.
- Oversee endpoint lifecycle management, from procurement and configuration to retirement and disposal.
- Security & Compliance:
- Collaborate with the security team to implement and enforce endpoint security policies and best practices (e.g., device encryption, patch management, anti-virus, and threat prevention).
- Monitor endpoint compliance with internal and external security standards, regulations, and policies.
- Lead incident response and troubleshooting for endpoint-related security incidents or vulnerabilities.
- Leadership & Team Development:
- Manage and mentor a team of endpoint management professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative environment and ensure the team meets performance and service level goals.
- Vendor & Tool Management:
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of endpoint management tools and software.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to optimize endpoint solutions and negotiate contracts.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT operations, security, and engineering teams to ensure endpoint solutions are integrated and aligned with the organization’s overall IT strategy.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on endpoint status, issues, and improvements.
- Incident Management & Support:
- Ensure the timely resolution of endpoint-related incidents and provide support for troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Manage endpoint issue escalation processes to meet SLAs and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Project Management:
- Lead or participate in strategic projects related to endpoint technology, upgrades, migrations, or implementations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
What We Seek:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 7+ years of experience in endpoint management, IT operations, or related areas, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of endpoint management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager, JAMF, VMware Workspace ONE).
- Experience with endpoint security technologies (e.g., endpoint protection, encryption, anti-malware).
- Proficient in scripting and automation tools for endpoint management.
- Excellent understanding of ITIL, asset management, and lifecycle management practices.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator).
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud-based endpoint solutions and integrations.
- Knowledge of endpoint-related regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
