The Senior Data Analyst supports the Structured Data Services Team Lead on active projects. This role involves understanding client requirements, reviewing documents, and identifying, gathering, analyzing, and extracting relevant data. The analyst highlights difficulties and patterns observed during extraction and provides updates to the Senior Data Analyst II or Team Lead. The role ensures deadlines are met while maintaining standard accuracy and quality.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Documents analysis and programmatic extractions for the respective content based on project specifications, using Excel and other file types
- Collaborates with Junior Data Analyst closely to make sure they are following the updates/instructions on projects
- Performs data cleansing or formatting on the data extracted, using formulae or manual or program tools
- Assists higher level employees, escalates more complex issues
- Performs Audits on projects assigned and provides the updates to peer team members
- Provides findings on timely manner in respective projects
- Identifies the correlation, issues and patterns using the data mining techniques
- Provides data into comprehensible structures to organize and transform information
- Performs statistical analysis of data
- Identifies the timing and indicators of data access based on the analysis
- Responsible for integrity in analysis, quality for the projects
- Manages multiple projects daily
- Meets project targets consistently
- Works under limited supervision with occasional targeted guidance on new projects
- Performs additional duties as assigned by manager
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Strong understanding of document analysis especially in data breach review
- Decent experience in the Advanced Excel and basic other Microsoft applications (like Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- Experience with Macro coding, preferred
- Knowledge of common scripting or programming language, including Powery Query, Python, SQL/Oracle and PowerShell, will be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a team environment
- Flexible, adaptable, responsive, and positive
- Any Data Analytical Certifications is preferred
- Strong knowledge of ETL frameworks
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, or Statistics and 4-6 years of Data Analyst experience or Bachelor's Degree and 0-2 years related experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Advanced experience in Excel and other Microsoft applications (like Word, PowerPoint etc.)

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with Arete salary and benefit policy.

Job is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
