Paysafe is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Change Management Portfolio Manager to oversee and drive delivery of projects across Risk, Compliance, Regulatory space.

 

The role requires a person experienced in delivering Change Management Projects in a Financial Services / Fintech environment, ideally with payments experience but if not experience in implementing regulatory or risk-based projects within financial services space.

 

The criticality of these projects means we are looking for people with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and focus on taking a controlled and evidential approach to delivery. In addition, as a leading fintech business, experience working with Product / IT teams would be highly beneficial. You will be managing a team of project managers globally working on individual deliveries across the portfolio scope, however we also expect there to be a need for direct project management of more complex and high-profile projects.

How we work:

 

We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

 

The impact you will have:

 

  • Execution of delivery - accountable for successful delivery of Change Management portfolio on time, with clear auditable and evidence-based delivery across all projects.
  • Manage portfolio delivery - ability to multitask and oversee multiple streams of work in parallel, supporting coordination of multiple projects within project management team.
  • Strong stakeholder management - ability to work with Legal, InfoSec, Compliance, Risk, Business and Product teams to coordinate delivery and ensure prioritisation of demand.
  • Supporting project initiation - helping form initial set of requirements, suggesting approaches and proactively supporting our stakeholders in planning delivery projects.
  • Drive project delivery – secure buy-in, hold deadlines, and escalate early. Lead by example to deliver commitments on time.
  • Ensure high quality governance – continuously review, assess, and improve on portfolio and project governance approaches to ensure effective evidence-based delivery across all projects.

 

What we’re looking for:

 

  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in project / programme management, primarily within Financial Services and working within Risk, Compliance or Regulatory related domain.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE 2, or other Project Management qualification Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • SAFe qualification
  • A strong work ethic and proven experience of driving successful time critical Regulatory Change Management Projects.
  • Willingness to collaborate directly with stakeholders and eliciting requirements whilst also managing a team of project managers.
  • Experience of working in a Matrix organization working across organisation divisions to ensure prioritisation and resource assignment.
  • Proven influencing and negotiating skills, able to overcome challenges and resolve escalations with stakeholders up to C suite level.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, project & program planning, people, and team building skills.
  • Experience in developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines, and operating under tight time constraints.
