Security Analyst Job

Who we are

We are currently looking for a Security Analyst to join our Global Cybersecurity Team.

What you'll be doing

• Monitor security systems and tools to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential threats
• Analyze security alerts and logs to identify unusual activity and recommend corrective actions
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls
• Assist in the design and execution of incident response plans, including conducting post-incident analysis
• Maintain and improve threat intelligence by staying updated on current and emerging cybersecurity trends
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of systems, applications, and networks
• Provide security awareness training and resources to employees to promote a culture of cybersecurity
• Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for stakeholders, including management and auditors

What you'll bring along

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in a cybersecurity or IT security role
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls
• Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
• Experience with network security, encryption protocols, and secure coding practices
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify security trends and anomalies
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical information to various audiences
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Experience in threat hunting and advanced malware analysis
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
