Manager information Security - Canada REMOTE

Job Description:

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on infrastructure, data protection, and operational technology security.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions for complex IT and OT environments.

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443).

• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), encryption, and access control systems.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

• Experience with cloud security and securing cloud-based infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA security.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the industry (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).

Mandatory Certifications:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

Work Environment:

• Remote Home Office Work
