Submarine Cybersecurity Project Manager

The Opportunity:  

Are you ready to tackle the complexities of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and help our clients navigate the ever-changing landscape of cybersecurity? We are looking for a dynamic Cybersecurity Project Manager who can transform intricate workflows into clear, actionable plans.

We are seeking a dynamic Cybersecurity Program Manager to spearhead our client’s cybersecurity program. As a motivated self-starter with a proven track record in planning, leadership, and the success of cybersecurity programs, you will manage contract delivery requirements, including staffing, schedules, and indirect costs, drive sales of cyber capabilities tailored to the Navy’s submarine cybersecurity needs, work to increase our undersea cybersecurity business and be a mentor to less experienced members on our team. 

On a day to day basis, you will guide the A&A team to secure Authorizations to Operate for the client’s cybersecurity portfolio and serve as the client’s primary technical cybersecurity advisor by navigating the Navy’s Risk Management Framework process, assessing impact of DoD/DoN Cybersecurity policies to system architecture and cross domain solutions, developing metrics for leadership, and performing portfolio risk management. You Have: 

  • 7+ years of experience in technical project management, systems engineering or cybersecurity

  • 2+ years of experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) policies and procedures for assessing and authorizing the cybersecurity of systems

  • Experience leading and managing discrete tasks from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment to organizational goals and timely delivery

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, CS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems

  • DoD Approved Industry Cybersecurity Certification, such as Security+, CySA+, or CASP

Nice If You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience with USN Submarine programs

  • Knowledge of Navy Acquisition Programs or Naval Shipboard System architecture and their cybersecurity challenges

  • Ability to guide and motivate a team

  • Possession of excellent leadership skills

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification

Clearance:  

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
