Your Mission:
As an Exploit Engineer III, you will play a leading role in designing, developing, and testing advanced proof-of-concept exploits across various platforms in a secure, ethical environment. Your expertise will be instrumental in understanding and addressing emerging threats, creating realistic simulations, and driving critical capabilities. By collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will develop security tools, provide insights into threat intelligence, and help strengthen defenses against evolving cyber threats.

A Day in the Life:
- Research and design proof-of-concept exploits targeting various platforms.
- Develop new attack vectors and techniques to bypass security measures.
- Create and enhance security tools for malware analysis and vulnerability exploitation.
- Simulate advanced persistent threats (APTs) and other attack strategies to improve defensive postures.
- Work with multiple teams to support threat intelligence and vulnerability assessments.
- Write comprehensive technical documentation on exploits, tradecraft, and attack patterns.
- Explore innovative techniques for code obfuscation and anti-detection measures.
- Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in exploit development and cybersecurity strategies.
Must Have:
- TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- 20+ years of experience in software analysis, exploit development, or related cybersecurity fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in low-level programming languages such as C, C++, and Assembly.
- Deep understanding of malware techniques, including code injection, rootkits, privilege escalation, and anti-analysis tactics.
- Expertise in reverse engineering tools, debugging techniques, and operating system internals (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Familiarity with virtualization and sandbox environments for dynamic analysis (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex challenges.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Nice to Have:
- In-depth knowledge of malware types, including viruses, worms, ransomware, and trojans, and their respective attack vectors.
- Familiarity with advanced obfuscation and anti-reverse engineering techniques used in malware development.
- Expertise in networking protocols and traffic analysis for understanding malware communication and command-and-control (C2) mechanisms.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as OSCP, GREM, CEH, or equivalent.
