Hybrid – Bangalore, INThe Global IT Security Analyst is responsible for the review Security Alerts and Tickets, Event Response, Security Controls monitoring and
Account processes as well as the day-to-day monitoring of the core Information Security Technology Stack. This includes responsibility for
the continuous monitoring of the Security Operations Center and responding to security events and incidents as they arise as directed by
the Security Operations Manager. The Global IT Security Analyst is also responsible for initial triage and response to Events and Incidents
and troubleshooting and addressing ServiceNow request tickets for access and enablement access Producing quality documentation,
adherence to standards and policy, and identifying issues proactively are key
functions of the Global IT Security Analyst’s role.
Operational Management
· Continuously monitor, assess, and respond to threats on organizational assets.
· Ensuring appropriate treatment of cybersecurity risk and monitoring compliance to Moog’s Information Security policies,
processes, and procedures.
· Participates in Security Event and Incident Response for systems and services supported.
· Security Assessment Authorization and Access process.
· Deploy (under guidance), monitor and maintain all security systems and their corresponding or associated software, including
firewalls, intrusion detection systems, cryptography systems, and anti-virus software.
· Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
· Monitor, and report on security system and end user activity audits.
· Monitor server logs and alerts, firewall logs, intrusion detection logs, and network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity.
Interpret activity and make recommendations for resolution.
· Recommend, schedule (where appropriate), and apply fixes, security patches, disaster recovery procedures, and any other
measures required in the event of a security breach.
· Download and test new security software and/or technologies.
· The successful Global IT Security Analyst will become proficient with the Security Technology Stack in use at Moog and will be
required to undertake periodic training and certification with these technologies in order to demonstrate their level of
proficiency.
· Ability to assess social engineering risks related to electronic communications.
· Ability to manage and leverage security tools to reduce organizational risk.
· Stay current on relevant cyber threat trends, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and advancements in technology.
· Addressing information security questions and inquiries from business users, customers, and third parties.
