Your Role:
As a Product Manager for Tenable Identity Exposure, you will be responsible for assisting the Snr. Dir of PM with building the product roadmap and contributing significantly to the product strategy. You are also responsible for distinct domains or areas of the product - and will own market, customer, and persona, and workflow research, requirements development, prioritization, and collaboration with Engineering and related teams, to improve existing and/or deliver new capabilities to the market to help meet overall product business goals and customer needs.
The Product Manager is also responsible for developing, enhancing, monitoring and acting on KPIs to ensure the business goals of the product are met. Finally, the Product Manager is responsible for partnering with adjacent teams on technical enablement.
Your Opportunity:
- Product Strategy - Provide well founded and critical inputs into product strategy for Tenable Identity Exposure, aligning with the company's overall goals and object
- Domain ownership- Lead PM aspects of existing and new features assigned to you, ensuring they address customer and market needs, and align with our overall business goals
- UX - Work with our dedicated UX team on broad stroke design in addition to finer details and workflows to fully solve particular identity security challenges
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization - Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring the success and adoption of our product. Continuously monitor usage, performance metrics, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Technical Enablement - works closely with adjacent teams to ensure the go to market teams are excellently equipped on the entirety of the product and its capabilities, market problems it addresses, and critical core use cases
- Product Led Growth and Enablement - develop and implement initiatives related to product led growth and also product enablement through in-product capabilities
- Market Analysis and Customer Feedback - Gather feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to inform product decisions and prioritize feature enhancements
- Cross-functional collaboration - Work closely with internal and external engineering teams to prioritize development efforts, guide technical requirements, and ensure alignment with ecosystem goals
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Technical Product Manager or similar role
- Experience with data analysis, product analytics tools, or telemetry to track product performance
- Ability to gather and interpret security metrics related to user behaviors, threat patterns, or access violations
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong project and time management skills
- Broad knowledge of cyber security markets and capabilities
And Ideally:
- In-depth understanding of any of the following: Identity Security, IAM (Identity and Access Management), and ITDR (Identity Threat Detection & Response), ISPM (Prevention/Identity Security Posture Management).
- Familiarity with technologies such as MFA, SSO (Single Sign-On), Identity Governance, Active Directory, Entra ID, IDPs
- Knowledge of security protocols like SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
- Experience working with Zero Trust architecture, privileged access management (PAM),or endpoint security
