Location: Summit, NJ or United States

Travel %: <25%

Pay: $124,100 - $167,900 

 

What you will do

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Cyber Product and Change Management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the processes for product delivery teams, managing a team of PMO analysts, and ensuring the successful delivery of product deliverables within the cybersecurity domain. This role requires an understanding of cybersecurity principles, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving product success through effective project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Oversight: Lead and manage the product delivery processes, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy and organizational goals. Monitor progress and performance metrics to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. Host monthly and quarterly meetings
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of PMO analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance on project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment on product vision and roadmap.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in product delivery. Utilize Agile methodologies and tools to streamline workflows and enhance team productivity.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with product delivery, ensuring that potential issues are identified early and addressed proactively. Maintain a risk register and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Performance Reporting: Develop and deliver regular status reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights into project progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Customer Focus: Advocate for customer needs by gathering feedback, conducting user research, and ensuring that product deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, CSPO) is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or project management, with a focus on cybersecurity products or services preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams to deliver projects and initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices (Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of related experience in project management and / or product management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business and competitive issues.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and security changes and their impact on business and IT processes.
  • Ability to supervise internal and external resources in the completion of work toward relevant strategic plans.
  • Experience in developing networks of internal and external business partners, suppliers, technical/legal community, and consultants.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

 

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $124,100 - $167,900 .  This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
