Overview
Location: Fairfield, NJ
Duration: full-time (up to 40 hours per week), for a period of 10 weeks (June 9 – August 15)

Our department: The Information Security team plays a crucial role in protecting the Bank and its clients. Our mission is to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the bank's data and systems. We accomplish that by installing, maintaining, and monitoring various information security technologies within the bank's environment as well as by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber risks posed to the organization. The work we do is essential for maintaining client trust and complying with the numerous regulations the Bank is subject to.
Job Overview: As an Information Security Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various information security functions. You will work closely with the information security team to support daily operations and contribute to ongoing projects. This internship is designed to provide you with practical experience and insights into the information security field.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and execution of security assessments and audits.
- Support the review and evaluation of security controls, processes, and procedures.
- Help identify and document security vulnerabilities and recommendations.
- Participate in the development of security policies and procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of security reports and presentations.
- Provide general administrative support to the information security team.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn.
