Overview

The Cybersecurity Governance and Risk Services (GRS) Lead Analyst works directly with GRS leadership to ensure maintenance of GRS operations and ongoing efforts to advance Cybersecurity standards. GRS Lead Analyst proactively performs risk assessments and gap analyses, drafts and proposes revisions to policy, and creates remediation plans and roadmaps. Lead Analyst initiates cross team projects and provides support to management on complex initiatives to ensure department and hospital strategies are successful. Lead Analyst acts as a mentor to other analysts and provide knowledge sharing to develop and grow team capabilities.

Responsibilities

Supports GRS leadership in managing daily departmental workload with little to no direction from leadership. Provides training and support for other members of the team to improve overall efficiency.

  • Proactively identifies process inefficiencies.
  • Proactively identifies process roadblocks and works towards resolution.
  • Leads GRS staff on troubleshooting unique scenarios related to governance and risk processes.
  • Assists with departmental backlogs and provides training to other team members on insight gained from issue resolution

Works closely with department management to meet prioritized goals and objectives. Helps define goal priority levels to align work accordingly for departmental success:

  • Provides guidance to peers in finding cost-effective solutions to new and existing technical needs.
  • Provides mechanism for tracking goals and reporting progress to leadership.

 

Makes cross-departmental recommendations and provides supporting documentation to leadership:

  • Communicates with cross-departmental leadership to serve as GRS resource to ensure effective deployment of technologies.
  • Explains highly complex process solutions and the feasibility of proposed solutions to meet Cybersecurity minimum standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in related field and 7 or more years' experience in cybersecurity, governance, and risk services or related roles. OR

 

High School diploma, or equivalent, and 11+ years' experience in cybersecurity, governance, and risk services or related roles. Preferred certifications and/or additional years of directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.

 

Preferred Certifications:

  • HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) Preferred
  • CSX Cybersecurity Practitioner (CSX-P) certification Preferred
  • Governance, Risk, and Compliance Professional (GRCP) certification Preferred
  • GRC Auditor (GRCA) certification Preferred
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Preferred
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Preferred

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $45.83/hr, but your salried offer will be determined based upon your education and experience.

 

 

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is entirely remote or work-from-home. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend on-site meetings, as scheduled.
