State Street seeks to recruit an outstanding Cybersecurity Technical Project manager with 5-10 years of project management experience. The project manager will be responsible for simultaneously executing numerous cybersecurity-related projects which are varied and complex in nature. The project manager will also be responsible for managing teams to carry out  priorities of the Fusion & Security Organization enterprise

This role will report to the Strategy & Operations Service Delivery, MD.

What you will be responsible for

As Service Delivery Senior Project Manager, VP, you are a rock for our cybersecurity teams — someone they 100% trust to troubleshoot any risks or dependencies before they derail a project, as well as to give them bad news straight (but always with a solution in hand).    You are able to build project plans and timelines that account for contingencies before they arise – and able to gently-but-firmly guide our teammates and vendors to successful project completion.  In your role you will be responsible for

  • Managing the overall project health, which includes scope, budget, change control and timeline.
  • Managing teams and effectively delegating responsibilities to team members
  • Overseeing data analysis to scope and define project outcomes
  • Managing complex budgets, including planning and forecasting
  • Continuously reviewing, improving, and executing project management policies and procedures
  • Creating thorough and accurate reports and providing status updates on projects; presenting findings to senior leadership on a routine basis
  • Resolving varied problems and conducting internal audits as needed

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years relevant experience.
  • Awareness of general concepts/principles of Risk Management and cyber security
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Additional requirements

  • CISA, CRISC or a CISSP is a plus
  • Previous experience in banking industry required

Salary Range:

$140,000 - $222,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
