Zero Trust Industry Engagement Lead

Key Role: 

Join a dynamic team of cybersecurity and IT professionals implementing a first-of-its-kind Zero Trust (ZT) solution within the DoD. Apply program management techniques to ensure the on-time, high-quality delivery of ZT products and ensure their compliance with all contract requirements. Lead teams of engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and help desk analysts in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the ZT solution. Act as a liaison between the client organization and the firm to identify and manage reach-back support for new technical requirements and subject matter expertise, as needed. Work with the client to shape activities under contract in concert with the statement of work, organizational strategic plans, and its associated goals and objectives. Work with internal corporate resources to facilitate contracting actions and work closely with the client to ensure projects meet delivery, quality, and schedule goals supporting organization-wide technical programs and strategic initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve program management processes and identify change management issues or requirements related to strategic implementation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience authoring or driving the development of compelling thought leadership, content, and messaging aligned to ZT and other strategic business priorities
• Experience operating as a cybersecurity subject matter expert, researcher, strategist, author, guide, and editor
• Experience partnering across integrated team functions and sectors on storytelling
• Experience using Microsoft Office software
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience with editing, or 10+ years of experience with editing in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

• 25+ years of experience with leadership at the editorial director level
• Experience with thought leadership and related survey-based research
• Experience with ZT, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, defense, national security, policy, Congress, and the media
• Experience speaking to C-suite clients as an SME
• Possession of excellent strategic and creative thinking skills
• Possession of excellent investigative reporting and analytical skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
