About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role within a SOC environment.
Proven ability to develop and implement SOC processes, procedures, and workflows.
Strong knowledge of incident response, SOC metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Advanced English proficiency for professional communication.
It would be great if you also had . . .
A background in application security or experience as a Product Security Engineer.
Passion for technology and cybersecurity outside of work.
Knowledge of security operations and managing multi-level security teams.
What will you be doing in this role?
Lead and manage a team of security analysts, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Monitor and analyze security alerts, ensuring timely detection and response to threats.
Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during security incidents.
Develop and implement SOC workflows to improve incident response capabilities.
Manage SOC tools and resources effectively.
Conduct regular assessments of SOC performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support audit and compliance requirements.
Define and implement capabilities aligned with the overall information security strategy.
Drive projects aimed at improving Clarivate’s overall security posture.
About the Team
We are spread out across the world with team members located in North America, Europe, and Asia. We support our organization’s internal teams and customer relations activities. The manager for this role is in North America. As a security team, our focus lies in four main areas (pillars) – Security Engineering and Operations, Product security, Security Architecture, and Governance Risk and Compliance.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time permanent position (40 hours per week), working on a Hybrid model, 2-3 times per week, from our Barcelona office.
