The Director of Information Security & Compliance is responsible for the organization's Information Security Management function, including the development, documentation, implementation, operation, and maintenance of the information security program. The Director of Information Security and Compliance will lead ongoing activities to preserve the availability, integrity, compliance, and confidentiality of the organization’s information resources and assets in compliance with applicable security policies and standards.
The Director of Information Security and Compliance is responsible for overseeing the Information Security Program for the global enterprise and organizing the initiation, facilitation, and promotion of activities to create information security awareness throughout the organization. The Director of Information and Security and Compliance will commission the preparation and implementation of necessary information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines. The Director of Information Security and Compliance partners with cross-functional teams by designing and developing new or updated products to prevent, detect, address, and resolve risks. This role monitors changes in federal regulations and accreditation standards affecting information security and makes recommendations to the Information Security Officer and other organization leaders on the need for policy change. The Director Orchestrates 3rd Party Security Assessments including SOC, PCI, FISMA Moderate as well as Vulnerability and Penetration Testing. All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information security, Information Systems Risk Management, Computer Science or Information Technology
- Required Experience:
- At least five years of experience in Information Technology
- At least ten years of experience in Information Security.
- At least five years of experience in an Information Security Director position.
- CISA, CISSP, or CRISC required
