Job Description:

Join a global team of professionals that are designing, developing, implementing and managing the IT Policies and Operating Procedures that define how the world-wide Agilent Technologies IT organization operates in compliance with external and internal regulatory and security requirements.

Agilent Technologies is looking for an IT professional with IT Compliance skills and experience who will be the IT Compliance Architect.

You may create, improve and evaluate information technology processes and solutions for IT Compliance, with a bias toward simplified standardization, but also the creativity and willingness to integrate innovative approaches to solving problems.

Detailed accountabilities:

  • Develop and Implement Compliance Frameworks: Design and implement IT compliance frameworks that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.  Improve processes and tools for managing in alignment with Agilent federated compliance governance.   
  • Policy Creation and Management: Lead, create, update, and manage IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal, industry best practices, and regulatory standards. 
  • Compliance Risk Assessment: Oversee regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop mitigation strategies. 
  • Audit and Monitoring: Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring that IT systems and processes are regularly reviewed for compliance.  Be subject matter expert to customer questions about Agilent internal cybersecurity/compliance operations.  
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on compliance requirements and best practices. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as legal, finance, and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance. Lead IT participation in Agilent’s federated compliance approach, allowing decentralized teams to manage compliance within their domains while maintaining overall coordination and consistency. 
  • Quality Regulations: Ensure compliance with quality regulations such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, IVDR, etc., which are based from quality management systems, and other relevant standards. 
  • Reporting: Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies. 

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations, and continuously improve compliance frameworks to adapt to new requirements. 

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 

Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT compliance, risk management, or related field. 

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), or similar. 

 

Skills: 

o   Strong understanding of IT compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR). 

o   Knowledge of federated compliance approaches and their implementation. 

o   Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

o   Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

o   Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

o   Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. 

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
