Be a part of the men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges! General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Zero Trust Architect to support the DTRA I3TS program at Ft. Belvoir, VA.
This program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable the customer to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities. These services will deliver exceptional execution value to internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Duties include:
- Direct and implement Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) for on-prem and cloud environments
- Manage and provide Cybersecurity monitoring and incident response
- Design and implement Cybersecurity strategies in complex IT environments
- Develop and deliver trainings and awareness programs related to Zero Trust
- Conduct security audits and assessments
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams
You should have experience with the following:
- Experience leading security projects and initiatives including Zero Trust implementations
- Experience with risk assessment, threat modeling, and security policy development
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as:
- Endpoint protection, network security tools, threat intelligence platforms
- In-depth understanding of NIST Special Publication 800-207; Particularly the principles and concepts of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)
- In-depth understanding of the DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture Version 2.0
- Ability to articulate security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency using and configuring security tools relevant to Zero Trust
- Ex: micro-segment tools, identity governance, and administration solutions
- Familiarity with network security protocols and technologies, including Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems
- Understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts and solutions; Including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO)
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
- 2+ years of direct Zero Trust principles and implementation experience
- Required certifications: CASP+ or equivalent
- TS/SCI
Desired Cert:
- Zero Trust certification
- CISM, CISSO or equivalent

The likely salary range for this position is $196,389 - $265,703. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
