Job Title: Principal Cyber Analyst

Location: Washington, D.C.

Position Summary:

Everfox is one of the world's most significant private cybersecurity and professional services company. We are looking for talented analysts motivated to help customers solve complex and fast-moving cybersecurity challenges supporting the U.S. Government. Focusing on our Insider Threat solutions, you will interface directly with customers and play a key role in analyzing customer data to identify potential Insider Risks to ensure customer success.  The successful and highly motivated candidate will be offered specialized training to support our technologies and is expected to become proficient in all aspects of complex software solution deployment.

What You'll be Doing:

• Responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex technology solutions and integrating architecture.
• Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems.
• Provide data analysis, detailed reports, data visualizations, customized collection methods and expert assistance on solutions to enable the insider threat program operations and coordination.
• Provide mentoring and guidance on technical insider threat-related matters, methodologies, and techniques within the team.
• Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
• Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas, methods and/or theories.
• Develops resolutions to complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors and that require frequent use of creativity.
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel.
• Work is accomplished without considerable direction and exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of assignment.

Things You Must Have to Apply:

• An active (currently in use) – TS with SCI or SCI eligibility within two years from last use.
• A bachelor’s degree in cyber security, intelligence, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
• At least one DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification at IAT level II (2) or higher.
  Required only for DoD professional services roles.
• The ability to obtain the appropriate work authorizations required under U.S. ITAR or EAR regulations from the applicable U.S. government agency.
• 8+ years’ experience performing the following tasks:

• Cyber analysis or intelligence, proficient with data analytics tools and databases (e.g., Everfox (formerly Everfox), Analyst Notebook, DTEX, etc.).
• Analytical problem-solving skills with a background in operations related to insider threats, counterintelligence investigations, or counterespionage.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools used for Insider Threat information collection on computer networks or knowledge of other Insider Threat risk scoring data analytics tools/programs.
• In-depth understanding of intelligence regulations, oversight principles, geospatial intelligence products, capabilities, and missions.
• Superior writing and briefing skills with the ability to publish well-analyzed reports.
• Certified Counter-Insider Threat Program - Fundamentals (CCITP-F) or willing to obtain within 12 months.
• Working with onsite government, contractor, or subcontractor staff to resolve issues with onsite products as the first line of support.
• Communicating with customer and Everfox management daily, providing detailed activity summaries and in-depth trip reports where applicable.

 Things that would be Nice to Have:

• Direct experience serving as an insider threat senior analyst in industry or government
• Applicable certification for Counter-Insider Threat Professional Certifications and/or CERT Insider Threat Certification
• Experience working with a with various insider threat technical solutions as well as other data analytics platforms
• Experience analyzing large endpoint data sets utilizing Business Intelligence tools such as Kibana, Elasticsearch, QRadar, ARCSight, etc.

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs.
