Core Responsibilities
As Head of Regional Security Operations, you will lead and develop a team of 5 professionals managing security operations across the LEGO Group’s sites in Denmark, Western Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Team is based in Denmark and the UK. More specifically you will:
Ensure the team is motivated and continuously improving their skills to effectively manage security operations in the region.
Manage daily security operations across the region in accordance with established criteria, budgets, and important metrics. This also includes preparation for and support to internal and external audits, ensuring alignment to relevant security standards and external certifications.
Manage external contracts and partnerships for outsourced services in the region, ensuring regular follow-up on performance.
Ensure existing security infrastructure at the sites are operating and maintained in accordance with global LEGO Security standards. This includes ongoing review and recommendations to global standards and addressing gaps identified during internal/external audits.
Ensure effective execution of security-related projects, workstreams, and installations (new or upgrades of existing installations).
Coordinate and lead all aspects of theft investigations for LEGO® assets in the region. Collaborate with internal partners in legal, HR, and Site management/General Managers, as well as external authorities. Detail and report efforts and results into NAVEX.
Responsible for Crisis Management in the regions, ensuring local site emergency management teams have plans aligned with the LEGO Group Crisis & Incident Management standard. Provide regular training for local crisis organization members.

The Global Security Organization protects people and assets in the LEGO Group. We ensure business continuity by preventing security incidents and responding efficiently to incidents. We also prevent leaks, thefts, and ensure safety at events and during travel.
As a member of the Global Security leadership team, your role is to help establish the long-term strategic direction of Global Security in the LEGO Group. You will work with other regions and the Security Excellence Center to develop standard processes.
Do you have what it takes?
A solid background in risk management, corporate security, legal, manufacturing, engineering, or IT combined with practical experience in security.
Proven people leadership experience, including experience in leading a globally distributed team.
Prior experience in a corporate security function with hands-on experience managing/advising people, preferably involving manufacturing sites.
Experience with Access Control and CCTV systems (preferably Genetec) and handling outsourced contracts, along with Project Management expertise.
Experience from construction projects and implementing digital transformation projects is nice to have.
Knowledge of regulations related to Supply Chain Security, Customs requirements, and experience with criminal and/or fraud investigations is an advantage.
Standout colleague with an open approach to collaborate and communicate effectively with a diverse group of colleagues from all levels of the organization.
English at a proficient level and knowledge of Danish would be an advantage but is not required.
