Position Overview:

Freddie Mac’s Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) Supplier Risk Management function is an enterprise shared service relied upon by business partners to provide insights and suggested actions to drive value out of supplier relationships.

You will be an instrumental member of our team, which is dedicated to delivering actionable insights to our business partners and senior level executives across Freddie Mac!

Project Management Skills

  • Lead Supplier Risk Assessor and Supplier Due Diligence Analyst teams while reporting to the Director of Supplier Risk Management

  • Implement processes to collect, assess, and validate evidence provided by Suppliers in accordance with established timeframe

  • Identify supplier engagements that build the most potential risks to the organization and make recommendations to mitigate these risks

Communication Skills

  • Collaborate with business partners and suppliers providing top-notch customer service while implementing supplier risk management activities

  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization with focus on encouraging, motivating, negotiating, and driving execution of supplier risk management activities

  • Excellent soft skills to manage partners’ interactions both written and verbally

Qualifications:

  • BA degree in business or information technology; master’s degree, Juris Doctor, or MBA a plus

  • 8-10 years of related work experience

  • Experience with control directives, inherent risk, residual risk, controls monitoring, supplier risk assessments, and supplier due diligence prior onboarding

  • Experience with concepts in the risk management lifecycle covering areas such as cybersecurity, operational resiliency, and regulatory, etc.

  • Highly organized with focus on execution, problem solving, automation, and improving processes

  • Experience providing detailed analytics and summary reporting of key metrics

  • Capabilities in analyzing information and building executive dashboards with visualizations summarizing key metrics and insights

  • Ability to collaborate with internal leaders, business partners, and suppliers to achieve desired business outcomes.

  • Familiarity with SOC-2 or SOC-1 audit reports along with ability to interpret the reports results for actionable risk mitigation action

  • Certifications such as CPA, CIA, CRISC, CISA, CISM is a plus.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $126,000 - $190,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
