Technical Analyst - Information Security

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 ACCOUNTABILITIESACTIVITIES1Information Security Tools and Technologies

The candidate will be responsible for Technical analysis, designing, reviews, testing and implementation of Information Security technologies

  • Study the requirements as per policies and recommendations
  • Prepare Technical specifications 
  • Co-ordinate with internal teams such as COEs, Infrastructure and Applications
  • Ensure adherence to policies and processes
  • Deploy, run and maintain the infosec tools and technologies 
  • Manages SOC from for Operations, Technology and Processes
  • Create and maintain a knowledgebase of technical references, security alerts, best practices recommendation from OEMs and technology trends.
2Cybersecurity  
  • Execute the technological controls and configurations to ensure the Applications and Business Systems are secured as per policies and procedures
  • understands cybersecurity risks and mitigation steps
  • track and report action items related to Risk Management process
  • Represents IT team for assessments and audits regarding Information Security
3Process and Policy review
  • Reviews all IT policies and processes
  • Update and seek approval for all changes to the policies and processes
  • Ensure the policies are adhered by regularly reviewing with action owners
  • Be the point for contact for all policy and processes for IT Assessments and audits
  • Manage SOC operations with focus on efficiency and increased security posture

Security Operations Center (SOC) management and sustenance
  • With the onboarded partner for SOC, ensure that the critical systems are monitored as per the set processes and SOPs
  • Manage SOC operations with focus on efficiency and increased security postureEnsure that recommendations from Security Advisories, SOC (Security Operations Center) and OEMs are timely implemented
  • Manage and monitor the closure of incidents by SOC and the internal teams
  • Regularly review SOC processes for adherence and sustenance
  • Review SOC SLAs and KPIs
5Risk Management and Compliance
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability audits to identify potential security risks.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and oversee compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements, such as ISO, or NIST frameworks.
6Project Management and Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor a team of security analysts and engineers, setting goals, and managing performance.
  • Manage security-related projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
