We are pleased to announce the opening for a Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination Engineer, who will join our Engineering Services Division in Huntsville, Alabama and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team that supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in developing new Missile Defense System capabilities to identify lethal objects.
Responsibilities:
You’ll be:
- Working within a multi-discipline, multi-source/industry team
- Providing technical analysis, management, and general scientific support to MDA’s Counter- Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate
- Developing and formulating options for improving the Missile Defense System's discrimination and electronic protection capabilities
Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree in STEM field and 7+ years of relevant experience
- Active Secret Clearance required with ability to acquire TS/SCI
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in radar signal processing, scheduling, and object classification
- Expertise in electronic protection
- Systems engineering analysis and process management to include development and review of engineering requirements, concepts of operations, and integrated schedules
- Experience in Technical performance assessments, Risk analysis and mitigation development
- Experience with Electronic attack/protection simulation modeling development to support analysis and requirements development
- Experience in developing technology maturation plans to transfer potential technologies to program offices
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Knowledge of MDA systems engineering processes
- Knowledge of Missile Defense fundamentals to include radar limitations
- Knowledge of Electro-Optics fundamentals
- Knowledge of radar hardware and design
