The Advisory Testing team works with some of the world's best-known large domestic and global financial institutions, broker-dealers, foreign banking organizations, asset management firms and insurance companies who look to us to assist them with IT Quality Transformation & Application Test Delivery challenges.

Your Key Responsibilities

Everything you do will come back to providing exceptional testing subject matter expertise and solving complex problems for our clients.  Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers, so you will become a trusted advisor when it comes to resolving complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, you will become a credible advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on solutions that will impact entire industries.

 

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Define the test strategy, planning, implementing and quality assurance for large complex projects
  • Seek out opportunities to participate in practice initiatives that will generate a long-term pipeline of sales for the firm
  • Teaming with business organizations to facilitate Integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Demonstrated deep experience in one or several of the following industry functions: Supply Chain, Consumer, Insurance, Banking
  • Demonstrated leadership to successfully deliver management consulting and transformation efforts, leading multi-disciplinary teams including client team members.
  • Share your knowledge and developing engagement tools and enablers to build capability for the practice
  • Develop client relationships across multiple levels and support sales efforts
  • A personable, approachable, and inviting demeanor
  • A “go-getter” attitude and a passion to constantly learn, improve and perform at the highest level
  • A desire to teach and coach your colleagues

 

To qualify, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field and approximately 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent collaboration and teaming skills in diverse environments
  • Technical competency experience with Test Strategy & Operating Model Development, Testing Center of Excellence/IT Transformation Program Management, Test Automation Framework Architecture, Agile Test Management, User Acceptance Test Coordination, IT Organizational Change Management, Performance Testing Program Management, Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, Enterprise Data Management, IT Life cycle Management or IT Delivery Management

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Approximately 5+ years of financial services or non-financial experience, including, prior consulting experience
  • SAP related process understanding in any of the following areas is highly suggested: General Ledger, Sub Ledger, Supply Chain, Manufacturing
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, ECC, General Ledger, Central Finance, Sub Ledger
  • Experience in creating a Centre of Excellence is a plus
  • Experience in testing tools such as ALM, Jira, Solman, Azure Dev ops is preferred
  • Knowledge of Automation tools such as Worksoft, Tricentis Tosca, UFT is a plus
  • Experience in other ERP applications such as Oracle, SFDC, Workday is a plus
  • Relevant industry certification such as, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CBCP, ITIL, PMP or other specialized IT certifications

  What we offer   We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $141,200 to $258,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $169,500 to $294,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
