Leidos National Security Sector is seeking an Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) to support a mission-focused enterprise IT program in Chantilly, VA. We are looking for a candidate to assist with strategic planning and overseeing implementation of the client's cloud-based data environment.

The selected candidate will support a high-profile customer on a project that produces highly visible products for senior leadership. They will be responsible for providing tactical guidance for development and O&M activities. They will also be responsible for the successful implementation of DevOps standards, ensuring system applications are compliant.

In this role you will oversee compliance and risk management activities. Responsibilities include: documentation; back-up and disaster recovery; compliance management to include security compliance for projects, management and compliance with the Federal Management Information Security Management Act. 

Required Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of work experience, additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience supporting several projects at one time in various stages of the A&A process
  • Experience working with Project Managers to track and resolve POAMs
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal facilitating constant communication on A&A status to Project Managers
  • Experience with risk management and mitigation
  • Experience with system security vulnerability
  • Experience producing program documentation
  • Experience with concept of operations
  • Experience creating Back-up and disaster recovery plans

Desired Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
