Enterprise Cybersecurity Risk Analyst

The Opportunity:   

Booz Allen is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to join our Enterprise Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance Team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's information systems and data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cyber security principles, regulatory compliance and risk management.

Your contributions will drive organizational change through effective and proactive risk identification, measurement, analysis and reporting to better manage the company’s risk in an open and collaborative environment. This highly collaborative role will work with various stakeholders to deliver value-added risk management services to our company and business partners. You will work across lines of business and partner with cybersecurity subject matter experts to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to Booz Allen. Familiarity with cyber risk management programs and frameworks, such as NIST CSF, will be key to achieving success in this role. The successful candidate will be a professional who is proactive and familiar with cyber risk frameworks, cyber control environments, technology functions, and organizations, with strong analytical, planning, strategic thinking, organizational and polished communication skills. This role will report to the Senior Enterprise Cyber Risk Manager within Booz Allen. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:  

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cyber risk, or governance functions
  • Experience with cybersecurity principles, best practices, and risk frameworks such as NIST CSF or FAIR
  • Experience in risk identification, quantification, assessment and reporting
  • Experience with GRC platforms such as Archer or Service Now
  • Experience in using MS Office Pro Suite and SharePoint
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in a cybersecurity or IT field

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience as a Cyber Risk consultant preferred
  • Experience with threat intelligence frameworks and tools
  • Experience with system security plans and compliance requirements
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, and CGEIT certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
