About Organization

The Security Products & Solutions Department in Security Engineering & Operations Division is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge cybersecurity products and solutions tailored to meet the evolving security needs of Rakuten Mobile. This department plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization's infrastructure, services, and customers by building innovative security solutions from scratch.

Job Duties

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure systems and processes while leading a team of DevOps and Developers to ensure the highest level of security and performance.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor a Level 3 support team of 3-4 DevOps and Developers, providing technical guidance and support.

• Act as the go-to expert for resolving complex security and infrastructure issues.

• Drive the adoption of best practices in security engineering and DevOps processes.

Security Engineering & Architecture

• Design, develop, review and Implement secure network infrastructure and system architectures.

• Implement and manage Identity Aware Proxy and Identity Management solutions.

• Conduct architecture reviews to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks.

• Development & Automation:

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and efficient systems using goLang, Kubernetes, Python, and RobinIO.

• Automate security processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in security engineering and DevOps.

Incident Management & Problem Solving

• Lead the investigation and resolution of security incidents and vulnerabilities.

• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues.

• Ensure timely resolution of issues while maintaining high-quality standards.

Soft Skills & Collaboration

• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

• Exhibit a "get things done" attitude, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Minimum Qualifications
Technical Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in Security Engineering, Network Infrastructure, and Identity Management.

• Hands-on experience with:

• Programming Languages: goLang, Python

• Container Orchestration: Kubernetes

• Expertise in Identity Aware Proxy and Identity Management solutions.

• Strong understanding of secure architecture development and review processes.

• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies.

Soft Skills

• Proven ability to lead and mentor a technical team.
