The Role
The Governance and Program Support (GPS) team manages key components of Block’s Compliance Risk Management Framework and is part of the Global Policy and Governance (GPG) team within Block Compliance. The GPS team has responsibility for the following functions: Policy Governance, Risk Assessment, Compliance Training, Compliance Risk Assessments, Third-party Risk Management, Compliance Regulatory Change Management, and Board/Management Reporting.
As a Compliance Reporting Analyst, you will support the GPS team in managing compliance board reporting for Block, Inc. and its key subsidiaries, and compliance management reports. You will provide an opportunity to learn and develop expertise in compliance governance, reporting processes, and data management within a global financial services environment. You will help prepare reports for different audiences, analyzing compliance-related data, and supporting important processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality work.
You will have the opportunity to work remotely in the United States. Flexibility to travel and work across time zones is required.
You Will

Help prepare board and management reports for the Compliance organization by gathering data, drafting content, and organizing materials.

Support regulatory exams and audits, including document & response preparation.

Collaborate with Compliance teams to collect and verify important compliance metrics and data.

Support the design, maintenance, and organization of compliance reporting libraries, shared drives, and documentation repositories.

Help manage the compliance reporting calendar and project management including tracking deliverables to meet deadlines.

Conduct quality reviews of compliance reporting materials to ensure they meet established standards and formatting requirements.

Help with editorial process, including credible content challenge and grammatical and stylistic revisions.

Support data collection and basic analysis to identify insights for compliance reporting.

Maintain team intranet pages, shared resources, and document retention systems.

Help report on remediation of regulatory findings and GPS-owned issues as part of the compliance reporting process.

Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks to support the GPS team.
You Have
-
At least 3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field.

Experience translating complex ideas and data into clear, engaging narratives across multiple formats.

Basic knowledge of compliance or risk management principles and interest in developing subject matter expertise.

Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Looker
Even better:

Technical writing experience or related education

Advanced experience with data analytics and visualization platforms such (e.g. Snowflake, Tableau, Looker, SQL)

Relevant coursework or certifications in compliance, risk management, or data analytics (e.g., CAMS, CRCM, or similar certifications).

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
