Your work will proactively protect enterprise-scale infrastructure while enabling rapid innovation and secure development.
This is not just an operational role—you will influence long-term security strategy, security platform architecture, automation at scale, and emerging technology adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and scale security solutions that protect our cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure.

- Evaluate and implement cutting-edge security technologies to enhance detection, response, and prevention capabilities.
- Advocate for and implement Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), SASE, and advanced network security frameworks.
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate security tooling into the SDLC, ensuring seamless DevSecOps adoption.
- Lead and mentor security engineers, guiding them in incident response, threat modeling, automation, and cloud security best practices.
- Drive the evolution of security monitoring platforms (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR) to improve detection and response across CommandLink’s infrastructure.
- Define security policies, standards, and compliance frameworks to align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct high-level architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments to ensure resilience against emerging threats.
- Champion a security-first culture, educating leadership, engineering, and product teams on security risks and best practices.
What you'll need for success:
- 8+ years of security engineering experience, with a focus on security architecture, cloud security, and automation at scale.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, influencing technical decisions and security strategy across large-scale, complex environments.
- Strong cloud security expertise in AWS, GCP, Azure, including IAM, Kubernetes, container security, and serverless security.
- Deep knowledge of security automation—experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, or Golang for security infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Expertise in SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR platforms and building scalable detection & response solutions.
- Strong understanding of modern attack techniques, offensive security methodologies, and defense strategies.
- Experience with network security architectures, including Zero Trust, microsegmentation, and next-gen firewall implementations.
- Background in regulatory frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, NIST, etc.) and aligning security strategies with compliance requirements.
- Track record of leading security teams or mentoring engineers, driving cross-functional collaboration, and influencing leadership decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex security issues for executive leadership.
