Overview

Your assistance in creating and leading configuration management activities are integrated with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies and many associated stakeholders.  SAFe offers proven, integrated principles, practices, and competencies to implement agile and DevOps at scale. Additionally, this program office personifies DevSecOps which automates the integration of security at every phase of the software development lifecycle from initial design, through integration, testing, deployment, delivery, operation, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

  • Assisting in preparation and ensuring complete documentation is maintained.
  • Aiding in oversight of configuration management items, including documentation, change control board, and lifecycle management.
  • Schedules and coordinates change control boards, and documents and implements outcomes/changes/ECPs, which must keep pace with high-speed Agile/DevSecOps environment.
  • Part of a configuration management team that is integrated with multi-functional SAFe/DevSecOps and Fielding teams. 
  • Assists with automation of CM processes to maximum extent possible, using approved tools; works with Quality to ensure effectiveness and adherence of CM policies and automated processes
  • Aids in development and implementation of a CM plan, compliant with SSC policy and NIST 800-53 CM controls
  • Helps to ensure delivery of SW Source Code and Released Artifacts
  • Supports coordination of CM with PM, Risk, Quality, and Task Lead personnel (Development, Test, Fielding/Sustainment, Cloud Services) and policies

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years' related professional experience
  • Certification: SAFe for Teams
  • Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.
  • Experience in the following applications frameworks:
    • Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel
    • Adobe Acrobat
    • Confluence; Jira; Gitlab
  • Ability to ensure CM in on-prem, hybrid, and Cloud environments
  • Create/update configuration items and technical documentation
  • Create/update workflows; automate to maximum extent possible
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code
  • Leadership/Team-building
  • Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.
  • Place of work is Colorado Springs, remote work opportunity is limited. You may be required to travel periodically, less than 15%.

Desired skills/experience:

  • Familiarity & knowledge:
  • Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command
  • Experience with DoD and USSF Defensive Cyber Operations

For this role, the compensation range for candidates in Colorado is ($100K- $120K) .  Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. FTI has a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
