We're growing our R&D and our main product line, Endpoint Security, serving for protection of various devices across all kinds of OS (Windows, Linux, macOS), and looking for a new Senior SW Engineering Manager, to lead one of the teams responsible for developing the SaaS platform part serving this product line.

We’re a team with a significant impact on how our customer's environments are protected, how their IT security teams interact with S1 agents through SaaS platform to resolve cyberthreats on endpoints (which can be seen in many S1 vs. Ransomware demos) and also how they manage the “fleet” of agents deployed on various endpoints in customer’s environments. As core team at S1, we're heavily involved in every end-to-end effort, feature development and are key contributors to the design and build of the right architecture of S1's cybersecurity solution to match the scale & hyper-growth of our business.

What will you do?

  • You'll drive design decisions around improving the product architecture and determining areas that need to be proactively improved based on team findings.
  • You'll also foster the team's continuous learning and improvement and adherence to engineering best practices. At S1 we nourish independence and encourage our engineers to drive things themselves.
  • You will deal with the scale of cloud-native cybersecurity software platform, deployed globally across 6 AWS/GCP regions, that serves 1 million of users from security teams at enterprise & government customers across the globe (incl. 4 of Fortune 10 and hundreds of Global 2000 companies), protects tens of millions of endpoints, and processes daily hundreds of billions of events.

Your team’s stack: Golang (used for new services) and Python (used in existing services); AWS/GCP; Kubernetes, Docker; Postgres, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Redis, Kafka; GitHub, ArgoCD etc.

Way of working & team setup: agile - scrum, 2 week sprints etc.; distributed team with team members across multiple time zones - Israel, Czechia/Slovakia, India and US
