As a Tanium Support Technical Account Manager (STAM) Intern, you will support Tanium’s world-class customer organization, responsible for the satisfaction & retention of our broad range of customers and partners. This includes serving our customers by resolving technical issues & answering technical questions in a timely manner. STAM interns experience this foundational role in our organization through dedicated training, 1:1 mentorship, team triaging efforts, and shadowing opportunities.
This is a hybrid position based out of Tanium's Krakow office.
What you’ll do:
- Work with your dedicated mentor (Support TAM) as they take on real-world customer problems in security, operations, asset management, and risk management.
- Contribute to triaging technical issues, engaging with customers, and conducting root cause analysis on live production implementations of Tanium.
- Support efforts may encompass security (Forensics, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Incident Response), operations (Compliance, Vulnerability Scanning, Patching, Integrity Monitoring), and general automation.
- Assist customers with Tanium platform/module adoption and upgrades.
- Partner with other Support TAMs to assist with their assigned cases.
- Shape, execute and deliver special projects with your peer interns that directly impact customers of the Support TAMs
- Acquire a deep understanding of how the technology of our product works and how to support, operate and integrate it
- Learn how to document best practices as well as track activity, document root causes, and complete accurate reports
- Rigorously test our product in a home lab environment.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Authorized to work in Poland now and in the future
- Available to work full-time from July 1st, 2025 to September 30th, 2025
- Interested in continuing working at Tanium after the internship
- Currently enrolled in Bachelorette or Masters university program, preferably in Computer Science or related field
- Open-minded, curious, and eager to learn
- Passionate about troubleshooting / tinkering / fixing things
- Technical background preferred
- Passionate about creating an amazing customer experience (previous work with customers is a plus)
- Able to work independently with good judgement and attention to detail
- Good command of English language
