Senior IT Security Engineer for Cloud (f/m/d)

Secure the future of Deutsche Börse Group by building and maintaining our cloud-native security posture. As a key member of the Security IT - Cloud Native Security team, you'll be responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of our cloud security solutions, focusing on platforms like Palo Alto Prisma Cloud and CrowdStrike Falcon. This includes ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems in our cloud environments, enabling secure innovation and growth across the organization. Your Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement a robust and scalable cloud-native security strategy, incorporating solutions like Palo Alto Prisma Cloud and CrowdStrike Falcon.
• Manage and maintain cloud security platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Integrate cloud security tools with other security and DevOps tools to streamline workflows and automate security processes.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans of cloud environments, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Automate security tasks and processes (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).
• Collaborate with other security and engineering teams to ensure a holistic security approach.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in line with international Quality Management standards.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging threats in the cloud security landscape.
• Provide occasional on-call support (rotational basis).

Your Profile

• Deep understanding of cloud security principles, concepts, and best practices.
• Extensive experience in implementing and managing cloud-native security solutions, preferably Palo Alto Prisma Cloud and/or CrowdStrike Falcon.
• Experience with container security, serverless security, and microservices security.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and their security models.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., BASH, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform).
• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset, excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with other cloud security tools and technologies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCSK, CCSP, Certified Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud Engineer).
• Knowledge of IT security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Benchmarks).
