Senior IT Auditor

Join a dedicated team that values ethical practices and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.  As the Senior IT Auditor, you will be responsible executing individual internal audit projects with a focus on the examination and analysis of internal controls, risks and processes related to our information systems, applications, and IT infrastructure. This position includes developing project scope, defining and executing internal audit procedures, preparing high-quality reports to accurately reflect the work performed, and actively monitoring the status of outstanding management action plans. The position will partner with people at all levels and in all areas of the company, and in particular our Technology and Data Science organization.

Key Responsibilities

•    Plan and execute IT audits, including risk assessments, control evaluations, and testing.
•    Review and assess the effectiveness of IT controls and processes.
•    Identify and document IT-related risks and recommend improvements.
•    Prepare and present audit reports to management, highlighting observations and recommendations.
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to address audit observations and implement corrective actions.
•    Develop knowledge of policy, procedures, internal control concepts, and best practices to assess adherence by process owners
•    Develop an awareness of changes in IT audit practices, regulatory requirements, and IT Risk frameworks to understand their impact on audit work 
•    Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet timely targets for assigned projects
•    Develop skills to lead audit engagements and coach other auditors.

Typical Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

• 3+ years related experience
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
• Experience using Microsoft PowerBI or Data Visualization tools for reporting and analysis a plus
   

Required Certifications

Minimum of one professional certificate or working towards one: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (preferred), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or equivalent professional certificate
