We are hiring for a Navy Qualified Validator to support an upcoming contract with the Department of the Navy onsite in Port Hueneme, CA. This role involves supporting the research, development, testing, and evaluation of new and emerging technologies to meet mission requirements, such as cloud services or Big Data analysis, based on business case analysis. Additionally, support is provided for the command's computing environment, which includes maintaining servers, networks, applications, and databases, as well as performing OS upgrades and security patches to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and operational availability for both unclassified and classified systems (up to Secret) and the Secure Internet Protocol Network (SIPRNET).
Requirements
- 10 years in an IA or A&A related field
- 10 years of experience with RDT&E and Business IT systems and the phases of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes.
- In-depth knowledge of all C&A subject areas with in-depth familiarity with and understanding of Navy IT sites, systems, and infrastructure; applying Navy C&A guidance to Navy C&A efforts.
- Experience in developing and maintaining System Security Plans (SSP), Contingency Plans, Privacy Impact Assessments, Certification Reports, Accreditation Reports, POA&Ms, and other C&A documentation
- Must have an active Navy SCA Navy Qualified Validator appointment and must be knowledgeable in the RMF process with a working knowledge of eMASS, eMASSter, STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), VRAM and Visio tools/applications.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science
- The applicant must meet the certification and clearance requirements established in the DoD Manual 8570-1M. The applicant must have one of the following certifications to start:
- CAP / CGRC
- CASP+ CE
- GSLC
- CISM
- CISSP (Or Associate)
- Interim DoD SECRET Clearance is required to start. Personnel may be required to obtain and maintain a TS clearance. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $153,000 to $183,000 (annually).
