Data Research Team Lead
Tel Aviv-Yafo, IL
Description
What's Guardio?
Guardio is a B2C cybersecurity startup offering security and privacy solutions directly to consumers - regular people, not corporate companies. We develop products you’d want for yourself, your parents, family, and friends. Our goal is to protect real people from cyber problems and crime. We try and avoid buzzwords, but sometimes those keywords are necessary: we help our customers avoid and combat the modern world’s security threats, like phishing, financial scams, malware, browser hijacking, identity theft, data leaks, and a whole lot more.
Guardio is a relatively small company (we just passed 80 people) on a rapid growth path, and we’re looking for core team members to join our team. We already have well over a million registered customers and plenty of new products and features in the pipeline.
So, what's the job?
We are looking for a Data Research Team Lead to join a core team of experienced analysts, researchers, and scientists, that own and improve core product functionality on a daily basis.
You will:
- Own multiple critical areas that impact and protect millions of users worldwide by addressing key cybersecurity challenges across diverse data sources like web traffic, mobile platforms, SMS, and email systems.
- Lead and manage a cross-functional team of highly skilled Security Analysts dedicated to enhancing the security landscape.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of large-scale cybersecurity data sets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies to prevent malicious activities across all platforms.
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching and integrating the latest trends in cybersecurity, evolving threat actor behaviors, and advanced attack methodologies.
- Collaborate with Guardio’s key teams, including engineering, research, product, and marketing, to enhance threat detection and support security initiatives.
Nice! Am I the right fit?
Our guess is you have a high chance of fitting in if you check as many of these as possible:
- 3+ years of experience in leading a team.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience as a Data Research / Analyst, analyzing complex data using SQL.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for analyzing and visualizing large datasets to identify attack patterns.
- In-depth knowledge of the web cyber-security landscape, vulnerabilities, and attack surfaces.
- Leadership mindset with strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of initiating and executing research strategies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to drive and take ownership of projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
