Cloud Engineer (TS/SCI Clearance)

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with SHLD, Inc., for our Chantilly, VA location.

Looking ONLY for candidates with an active TS/SCI Clearance

Responsibilities:

· Work as a collaborative member of a high-profile team

· Program and script using one or more languages (Python, Ansible, Java, C++)

· Provision cloud access and accounts

· Systems optimization at the OS and infrastructure levels in an AWS cloud environment

· AWS cloud administration (EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, Lambda)

· RHEL systems administration (OS patching, shell scripting, storage management)

· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts

Requirements:

· DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+, CISSP)

· Experienced with AWS Cloud infrastructure and services

· Experienced with Linux command line

Desired Skills:

· AWS certification (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps Admin)

· Red Hat Certification (Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator, Red Hat Certified Engineer)

· Microsoft Office proficiency

Years of Experience: Mid Level, 5-8 years of experience. Senior -10+ years of experience.

Education: Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical field (preferred)

Location: Chantilly, VA

Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ ability to obtain CI Poly
