We are currently looking for a DevSecOps Engineer (ITCC-II) to add to our team in Nebraska. The ideal candidate will be well versed in DevSecOps practices and eager to work with a team plan, develop, and execute automation that aids in national security for the United States of America. We're an open and collaborative group looking for similar individuals who share an interest in modern technology to make IT services and capabilities accessible to all users.
What You'd Do:
- Work within the team to build automation to deploy baseline systems in both Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux and assist customers with initial troubleshooting regarding baseline system functionality with core services.
- Participate in a collaborative Agile multi-discipline team working closely with the customer to increase automation capabilities, accelerate on-prem and DoD cloud initiatives, and improve overall system deployment processes.
- Work with the customer to design and build CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines. Develop and integrate toolchain systems to provide path to mission system deployment through test and dev to production networks.
- Enable CI/CD through appropriate design guidelines.
- Test and certify new versions of Windows and Red Hat operating system providing better solution capabilities and functionality supporting all areas required by the mission.
- Integrate and evolve systems automation processes using custom scripts and leveraging via third-party solutions such as Ansible, VMware, etc.
- Implement regular checks for the status of servers including hardware and software.
- Maintain and support the multi-site environment along with hardware and software configuration.
- Manage server migrations when required to meet lifecycle requirements and advanced features.
- Work directly with internal ITCC-II and Customer teams to foster a greater level of automation to help them increase their velocity, while helping our team identify gaps in our service offering.
- Document and train other team members on modern DevSecOps practices.
- Design and implement Kubernetes platforms and tools chains.
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Ansible Automation Platform, Hashicorp Packer, and VMware vRealize Automation.
- Foster and mentor the use of container deployment tools and methodologies such as Hashicorp Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitOps.
- Design and implement enterprise on-premises and hybrid cloud integrations
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with clients and vendors, demonstrated technical leadership skills, good verbal, and written communication skills
- Maximizing network performance by monitoring activity, troubleshooting, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects
- Replace faulty systems and hardware and implementing new hardware solutions
- Support of a large environment of 500+ servers, multiple datacenters and security enclaves, and multiple SAN and NAS storage systems
Qualifications

Qualifications:
- Bachelors and 5 years of experience, Masters and 3 years of experience; 9+ years of relevant work/military experience in lieu of degree.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance
- Reside in or around Bellevue, NE – position location at Offutt AFB
Required Certifications:
- Must obtain/maintain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security +, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP) within 120 Days of hire.
Desired Certifications or experience:
- CNCF/Kubernetes, RKE2/Rancher, or OpenShift
- VMware, Tanzu, Aria Automation, vSphere, etc.
- GitLab, “git” command line
- Ansible playbooks, Ansible Automation Platform
- Docker/Podman containers
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or Red Hat Certified Engineer
- Knowledgeable of architecture concepts including service and system automation, micro-services, container orchestration, and traditional 3-tier applications.
- Experience with observability tools: Splunk, QRadar, Elasticstack, LogInsight, or Prisma Cloud
- Understanding of LAN/WAN/VLAN, TCP/IP, UDP

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000.
